If your rune scape account was in quick chat mode how would you talk again?

There are two reasons for this. A main reason, may be that you are below the age of thirteen. The rules used to not allow anybody below thirteen to play Runescape, now, however, this is allowed, but, until this person turns thirteen, they have to use QuickChat. It will know when you turn thirteen, as you have to input your birthday. Another reason will be because you are temporarily/permanently muted. Check your message box incase this is the situation, if so, you will have received a notice from Jagex Ltd. letting you know that you have been muted. You can appeal a mute in the Appeal Ban/Mute section of the Account Management area, this can be found on the Runescape website. you might also be in a quick chat world where people can only use quick chat.
(There is also a third reason) Some worlds only permit you to use quick chat. If that is the case just log out (if you dont use quick chat) and go to a different world. Your problem is then fixed.

Why when creating a Rune Scape account would the email address be dismissed as taken or in use?
Perhaps you registered another account in the past with that address, then forgot. Or someone else in your family, if you share an email address. Just use a different email address; it is fairly easy (and free) to get more than one email address.
