Carefully pop the top off of the steering column. There are two screws in the bottom of the cover to take it off, and also take off the tilt lever. You'll need TORX or "star" bits for your screwdriver. Next, remove the two male star screws (black) from the turn signal switch with a pair of pliers. Finally, remove the two silver male star screws from the ignition switch (below the turn signal lever) with a pair of pliers. Using some different (phillips head) screws when putting it back together makes it easier, or you could just buy the Torx sockets.
