Im in love with my 4 month girlfriend but she doesnt feel the same way i have told her more than once and she acts weird or ignores me when i tell her i love her Should i wait or move on?

(hey whats up? im a teenager and i answered this using some of my own past and current experience so bare with me) there are a lot of reasons why she acts that way. the first that comes to mind is maybe she had a bad relationship in the past and she was hurt. this might be why she reacts weird when you say it and it either brings back memories or she finds it hard to believe in it anymore. Another reason is that she just cant believe that your in love with her. its hard for a teen to believe that the other is in love with one another, they think that it is just that you have crush on them or just attracted to her. another reason could be that she wasnt ready to hear that or wasnt expecing it. sometime a girl could be overwhelmed or shocked just by hear this. the last thing i could think at the moment (sorry dude im typing this at 4 in the morning) is that she just doesnt feel the same towards you or not at strongly as you do for her. its tough but you do have to listen and respect her feeling, no matter how tough it hurts dude. But as for should you wait or move on? i dont think you should let another person decide for you. this is yours and your partner's decision and no one else. the way i always dealt with this is......to ride it out. sounds dumb but im serious. if you have a good relationship with this amazing person that yooou get along with, then i think you should be yourself and keep going with the relationship. keep the love alive and maybe she wont react weird when you say i love you to her, and instead return the love. the last bit of advice i have is, also the most obvious that guys have a hard time seeing, just man up and ask her. what the better way of solving your dilema than asking the source. just ask her nice and gentle and be opened minded when you listen. listen to everything she has to say before you talk back, this will save you alot of confusion and trouble in the long run. hope i helped you out at least a little bit and i wish you the best of luck dude
