AnswerIt appears he's confused. Perhaps taking a break was a good thing for both of you, because marriage is a commitment and shouldn't be taken lightly. You could phone him and ask when he thinks he'll be getting around to deciding about your relationship and if he puts you off tell him it's over and you're out dating. This will either get him thinking harder out of fear of losing you or prove to you he doesn't want to commit to marriage and wants to be free to do as he wants.Or perhaps... he was just a bit of a fool in the first place, and was trrying to get out of an engagement. no offence.

Well long-distance relationships always has a decrease in interest with old friends after they move. He's probably not trrying to say anything really. I think you should show some initiative and step-up yourself. You should start being somewhat more frequent, like maybe instead of you waiting ti get an email once a month, ysend one once a week or so. And if he's part of any social networking sites like Facebook or Myspace, trying joining that.
