well i live in c.a. and yes u r 50% of people in c.a. have ran over a dog with there car
If the person who was bit by the dog was just walking by, then yes, you are liable. However, if they were provoking the dog or coming onto it's/your territory, than you aren't liable.
That depends on where it gets run over. If the car wheel strikes the dog's head or chest, there's no way, but if only a leg is injured, then there's a chance.
How dare you even think to leave your dog out in the snow?!?!?!?! ....................../´¯/) ....................,/¯../ .................../..../ ............./´¯/'...'/´¯¯`·¸ ........../'/.../..../......./¨¯\ ........('(...´...´.... ¯~/'...') .........\.................'...../ ..........''...\.......... _.·´ ............\..............(
The other dogs owner is responsible of ALL damages. You actually have the right too shoot the dog if it disturbs you on your'e property!
I'm not sure if it's a law but it's not safe for you or the dog. My friends mom was a paramedic and she was at a car accident (Central Coast California) and if the dog had been behind on of those net things you can get for your car it probably would have been fine but it was in the passenger side and it flew out the front windshield and died. So if you want your dog to be safe you should probably get one of the net things........
The dog bite law can be found in California's Civil Code Section 3342 under which the owner of a dog can be held liable by anyone bitten by their dog who is in a public place, or lawfully in a private place, including the dog owner's property. The owner will be liable regardless of whether the dog has ever bit anyone before and regardless of whether the owner knew the dog had bitten anyone before.

If it was in your yard, then you should be ok....but if you were in a public place, they could hold you liable.
The other person would be liable for damages. This is because owners are expected to keep their animals under control and on their property. If the dog came on to your property, you should not be liable for anything.
The owner of the cat & possibly you if you &/or your dog were trespassing on the owner's property or if your dog was not on a leash.
The owner of the leashed dog is liable. If the dog that is on its own property is attacked, the owner should pay for the "home" dog's care. The owner of the leashed dog is still responsible for its behavior.

yes if the dog spills something on the computer they are liable for the damages to the computer because the owner should keep a better eye on the dog.-alex w no it is not the dog's falt dogs are dumb -alex g
Your neighbors are probably liable for damages to you if the breaches in the fence were their fault (i.e. their dog's fault). However, you were also negligent if you were AWARE of the holes dug by the other dog and still allowed your dog to spend time unsupervised in your yard. If this is the case, you could be liable for animal cruelty.
well if you poop in your hand and throw it at your neighbor then no you're not liable for anything

If you hit an unleashed dog that runs infront of your car while driving the speed limit, what is your legal responsibility?
