In democratic countries everyone who wants to can vote after reaching a certain age (usually 18). In not democratic countries voting is often either compulsory (taking away the choice not to vote) or some people are not allowed to vote.

The laws for at which age a person is allowed to vote can be different from one country to another, but 18 years is a common choice. Some say that the person must be 18 (or more) to be allowed to vote, others that it's OK to vote the year they turn 18.
Yes they were allowed to vote the atheain women were not allowed to vote.
The 19th amendment allowed them to vote
Why not? Same reason other countries let women vote. We have every bit as much right to vote as any man does. We're affected by politics and government too.
In most of the world today, men and women vote, and their votes are counted equally.200 years ago, neither the US nor England allowed women to vote. Both countries changed their laws about 100 years ago. Different countries decided to allow women to vote at different times.
