For this you need to have a Hunter (Expert Job of Human Archer with 2 A-Abilities) and a Morpher (Expert Job of Beastmaster with 5 A-Abilities).
You need to get the Hunter to use his Capture A-Ability (Ranger Bow, 200AP) on a weakened monster. This will give you its soul (Capture-able monster list below), which you equip onto the morpher, who learns it like any other a-ability. If you have two or more monsters of the family, you can use any of the souls of that family to learn all of them, likewise, if you already learnt a particular monster families soul, then you don't have to lean it again.
e.g. You have a Dragon soul from a Icedrake only. Morpher equips soul (can use Icedrake). You get a Firewrym, Morpher can now also use Firewrym abilities. Morpher finishes learning Dragon morphing. You get Thundrake. Morpher can now also use Thundrake abilities, without requiping the Dragon soul.
e.g. You have a soul from a thundrake, and another from a firewrym. You have two morphers with dragon ability. You equip both with dragon soul. They can both use thundrake and firewrym abilities.
Once in battle, you use the morph ability to change into what you want, and move/wait for the rest of that turn (morphing counts as an action). Next turn, you can now choose between the variations of the monster you have chosen to be. You will only see one type of monster listed if you have only caught one type of that monster. Then you use the ability that you wish in the sub-menu. You can unmorph and morph into something else in the one turn if you haven't used an a-ability yet. To see what kind of monsters you have, go to Cyril's Monster Bank.
Although you have the same abilities, the power of your abilities is determined by the power of your morpher, not the monster that you captured.
Goblin Souls: Goblin (Blue), Red Cap (Red)
Flan Souls: Jelly (Red), Ice Flan (Blue), Cream (Yellow)
Bomb Souls: Bomb (Red), Grenade (Ice)
Dragon Souls: Icedrake (Blue), Firewyrm (Red), Thundrake (Yellow)
Lamia Souls: Lamia (Red/Purple), Lilith (Blue/Green)
Bug Souls: Antlion (Blue), Jawbreaker (Red)
Panther Souls: Red Panther (Red), Coeurl (Blue)
Malboro Souls: Malboro (Green), Big Malboro (Purple)
Eye Souls: Floateye (Blue), Ahriman (Red)
- The Monsters in one family all look the same, just a little bit of palette swapping.
- All other monsters are uncaptureable, as are those you already have.
- You can still use the souls to learn the monster techs even when doing the "Fiend Run" mission.
AP or EXP gain is effected by the level of the battle you encounter.
You can't use monsters like using them in battle with you, but you can control them with a Beastmaster (Nu Mou), or morph into them as a Morpher (also Nu Mou). To get Morpher you have to master 5 Beastmaster A-Abilities, and you can't Morph unless you've captured a monster with Hunter (Human), which takes 2 Archer A-Abilities.
Disgaea, Tactics Ogre, and a few others.
without having a character selected, press start during the battle. It will have a big menu and at the bottom it says save now. Click it and when you start the game back up, you will continue from tht battle.
Different from the conventional Final fantasy games. It uses a battle system not unlike that of Tactics Ogre and it's more strategy based than the other Final Fantasies. It's storyline is also distinctly different in terms of themes and general direction, though, as expected, there are recurring motifs. It's very militaristic overall which aptly suits the tactics battle system. Not for everyone, even a die-hard Final Fantasy fans may not enjoy it, though personally, it is my favorite in the series because of it's more realistic, mature and in-depth storyline (a complete contrast to Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance, a different game entirely)
Altima/Ajora, who was resurrected using Alma's body
first you have to unlock the chocobo rider job ( popocho's chocobos ) then using the job you'll have to mount a chocobo during a battle sequence. ( only if there's a chocobo and if the chocobo has critical hp left )
Ap stands for action points they allow you to master the abelties on your weapons and aomor so you can use them anytime with any job
From what I can remember, Illusionists are mages that cast spells that can reach all enemies or allies on the field. They have a low defence, so it's a good idea to keep them holed up in a corner of the field once a battle commences, since they can reach anyone regardless.
No tactics
which tactics were successful and which and were not in battle of fort sumter
Kakurenbo Battle Monster Tactics happened in 2000.
