give him a peach when he comes to pick up your shipping bin stuff, and he'll give you a gold lumber, and when that happens, Oran the lumber team leader will come back.

Here's what I did.
I saved my data BEFORE the day that he comes and asks for the item.
Then when that day comes, and he asks for something, but you don't have that item, just reload and talk to him again.
I kept doing that until he asked for something I actually had. There! Simple as that! Hoped that help bunches.
