IF you meant to take suppliments for body building, like protein powders, yes they are permessible provided that they cause no harm.
But the case is different if you tried to take hormonal suppliments to build muscles, this is NOT PERMESSIBLE, coz it is very harmful on the long run (within 5 years produces gradual impotence, severe depression, muscle atrophy) and Islam doesn't permilt doing harm the one self.
