If you can prove you were in compliance at the time you were issued the ticket - but just didn't have the card with you - many judges will dismiss the charge. However, if you did NOT, in fact, have insurance at the time you were stopped and only just got it for the court appearance, probably not.
driving without insurance, violation 16028
If you were pulled over for a traffic violation that IS 'just' cause.
If you're operating a vehicle requiring a CDL licenced operator without having a CDL, yes, it is a traffic violation, and one which can cost you dearly, as well.
21655.5 is not a moving violation. I called my insurance company and they said that this specific violation was "not chargeable." But, if the violation were 21655, without the .5 at the end, it would be.
It is the charge, not the ticket, that would be dropped, and the ten days is for the driver to produce proof there was insurance at the time of the citation, not later. If the citation was not issued because of an accident or other moving violation, it is possible the court would dismiss the case, or continue it without a finding, to be dismissed if there are no further violations (usually in 6 months or a year).
It is 490 without traffic school or 544 with traffic school (That is in Orange County) In June 2013.
Yes, it's obviously not a parking infraction.
I got one and it is considered a moving violation The fine is around $500. Good luck
Theoretically, a person should be able to make as many claims as they need to against their insurance without being dropped. However, making false claims is a great way to get arrested and dropped from one's insurance.
Sarcasticly yes, all you need is the skill, the key, a pair of pedals and the steering wheel...Now realisticly it is not a good idea. It all depends on the state where you live in, in most states that incurrs into a traffic violation and will be subject to a citation (ticket).
yes if you were caught on tape then yeah
If you get caught driving without insurance, you will lose your license. You will also be fined and could get jail time. It is up to the judge in traffic court.
