Excel Help on "limits" or "specifications" reveals that Excel will allow 32,767 characters to be entered in a cell.
However, it goes on to state that "only 1024 characters will be visible or can
be printed"
To work around this limitation, stick a few ALT + ENTERs in at appropriate
spots, about every 200 characters..
The ALT + ENTER forces a line-feed and expands the 1024 limit.
Write as much as you want but when you go to a different cell the writing is hidden. Double click in between the two letters where the writing is to make the cell big enough to see all the writing

Looks something similar to this
A cell is a rectangle that can hold a number, text, formula etc.
Format the cell as text. You also can input a formula: =text(A1) Remark: if the content is in cell A1.
Start your entry with an apostrophe (') to indicate the cell contents is text.
Select cell formatting and change to text. After than, Excel will treat the numbers in a cell the same as any other text characters. Also, you will not be able to use that cell in a formula, because the formula will not recognize the characters as numbers.
Select the Cell and press Control + 1 or find format cell. Select the option under the "Number" tab "Text"

numbers and text
In Microsoft Excel, text can be entered directly into a cell and in the formula bar. Whichever you enter it into, it will show in both as you enter it, so it cannot be in one and not the other. The formula bar shows the content of the active cell, so naturally as you type it will appear in both.
You can delete text in an Excel cell by pressing Backspace or highlighting the text and pressing Delete.
number instead of a letter (text)
You do not put images in cells, you place them on the worksheet. So, you can place an image over the same space occupied by a cell containing text.
A possible answer is text, numbers, and special characters.
