Yes. You can file BK even if you have been served. Although before taking action you might wish to determine if you have any non-exempt assets. In many cases a debtor is "judgment proof", meaning they have no assets that can be taken by creditors. The more precise definition is execution proof, a judgment can be granted by the court, but it cannot be collected upon.

Wow...that could be anything! Most Jr. Lawyers start around the 50,000 - 80,000k mark. That is in a well established lawfirm. It also depends on how many billable hours you can submit, what your trial history is ect. ect. ect. ........ Partners in lawfims make well over the 100k mark, again this is in a well established lawfirm. If it is a fledging lawfirm or just a Joe blow on is own it may (or maynot) be consideralby less. Again it's all in the billable hours, Advertising and Trial record. Either way remember the student loan factor.................years and years of student loan payments
they get turned in to a collection agency and if they cannot collcet a lawfirm will try to collect if they cannot collect you will be served
No. Pay your debts, don't head down a road that will end up costing you even more.

Both are meaningless. Neither one gives a person the right to practice law. Paralegals do not have to have a degree, most are just given that title by the lawfirm. There is no licensing or anything.
Littler Mendelson is an American lawfirm with office branches in various cities of the US and with foreign branches in about four countries. They deal with matters like whistleblowing, labor disputes, discrimination and harassment among others.
They will definitely prosecute you through a local lawfirm according to where you live. My best advice is to talk to speak to one of their representatives and try to reach an agreement, they can be very flexible if you talk to them honestly. GOOD LUCK
not even the US government can do such a thing without your express written consent. so watch what you sign.Another VIew: I believe that a motion could be made to the court for an order for the release of pertinent portions of a subjects medical records if they were GERMAINE TO THE ISSUE AT TRIAL.
There are many good lawyers based out of Orlando. Some examples are Roger Scott (Roger Scott Law Office) and Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell. Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed is a great lawfirm based in Orlando. They have received many awards. Here is a link to their site: http://www.lowndes-law.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/dir_firm.honors/firm.cfm
I'm a legal secretary in a major US lawfirm located in the Southeast. My salary this year will be around $73,000 (includes $4,000 bonus). It's good pay, but since they can't promote you to lawyer (who would want that job anyway?), it's dead-ended and can be monotonous. Once you get hooked on the money, it's hard to quit for something more fulfilling.
Looking at the date of the question 12/15/2010 - Ronnie Brown and BenJarvus Green-Ellis would have scored the same fantasy football points. Ronnie Brown rushed for 39 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 1 pass for 3 yards. The Lawfirm rushed for 38 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 3 passes for 12 yards. Basically it was a wash.
