Yes. The NC Juvenile Code states that any juvenile under 18 years of age is subject to the supervision and control of their parents. That means your parents get to decide where you live. The exceptions to that are juveniles that are married, servicing in the armed forces (both of which require parental consent) or have been emancipated by the court (which is RARELY granted).
