Rescue Points are part of the reward that you get from completing missions. They add to your total score so far and can increase your Rescue Rank. Increasing your Rescue Rank means that you have higher chances of recruiting other Pokemon and can buy or find better items.
Different missions have different difficulties and these contribute to the ammount of Rescue Points you gain when you complete it. Difficulties and Rescue Points are shown below:
Difficulty = Rescue Points
E = 5
D = 20
C = 40
B = 100
A = 150
S = 300
*(Star) = 700
The further you are into the game, the higher the difficulties will become. Post game missions will have the chance of being S or *(Star) difficulties, where the game difficulties are lower until you finish the plot.
