In Pokemon platinum how do you get to the seventh gym?

To get to Snowpoint City you must enter Mt Coronet from Celestic Town and use strength to go north. Once you are past that strength boulder keep following the path straight on to some steps leading down. Down them is a foggy cave which you can use De-fog to get rid of. Go north until you run into a wall. Climb east and I think that leads away from the fog. Once you leave the fog cave there is another cave with an entrance to another cave and an exit. In the first cave you can get the item NeverMeltIce. The exit leads to a snowy path. The snow is pretty straight forward - either you go straight through or you go straight through. Anyway, keep going until you reach a cabin. You can rest here (there are lots of trainers on the snowy path). Then go north until a really heavy blizzard comes and you see Maylene from the fourth gym. After she speaks to you you will keep going until you reach an endless snow field. Go Northwest and eventually you should see a cabin with an item behind it. Pick up the item and talk to the person inside the cabin. The item is the Rock Climb HM. Then leave the cabin and continue straight north. After a while the blizzard will fade away and you will see a Rock Climb wall. Your rival is up there and he will speak to you. Then continue along what is pretty much a straight path until you reach Snowpoint City. The Gym is in the centre of the town.

Candice uses ice-types and fire-types will sweep through the gym. Her Pokemon levels are 40-44.

go to the light house in sunnyshore city then go back to the gym and the gym leader should be there.
