well you should go when says conect to pokewalker and you press L+DOWN+X and its going to say you should conect with the pokewalker and it gona erase all of the data and when you conect with the pokewalker after you erase it it will register the new data and yes you will los all of the routes.
If you reset your pokewalker your Pokemon will go and all your data will be deleted. That includes the steps places and watts. DONT BOTHER DOING IT UNLESS YOUR HAVE STARTED A NEW SAVE AND THERE IS A POKEMON ON THE POKEWALKER WITH A POKEMON ON IT!!!
When you start soul sliver press pokewalker and choose you Pokemon and connect it to you ds then Wala!
after you hit start there will be three options. One resume your game. Two restart the game. And three connect to pokewalker. [you can only connect to the pokewalker after you have started the game and reached the first town with a PC. Also the Pokemon you want on it. Only 1. put in a PC box.] :)
You'll need to wait until you catch at least one other Pokemon, then store it in your PC. Save then restart, in the main menu go to "Connect to Pokewalker". Or turn to pg. 52 in the instruction booklet and read the part that says How to restart your pokewalker!
No, there is no possible way to get your Pokémon back that is in your Pokéwalker if you have started a new game in Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver.
i have never tried that but i am guessing your meganiums data is corrupted considering that was from a different file
no,that happend to me one time so you should not rastart the game again
To reset the PokeWalker after starting a new game, select 'CONNECT TO POKEWALKER' from the Main Menu on the DS. When you see 'Save, then go for a stroll', press 'L' when holding 'down' and 'x'. Say yes to the caution screen, and it will reset, and you can now connect with the PokeWalker like normal.
It already started. Members who registered can try out the beta at any time; members who didn't register can still try it out on weekends.

What I would do, although it's probably too late, is take the battery out and wait until everything dries off. I dont know how to fix one after it dried. I agree with that comment if you can remove the battery right away. My son had gone swimming with it and once we came home it no longer worked. Then the battery went bad in it, so it was a mess. but it works fine! good luck! Here is what I suggest, you have to remove the battery. Get the special screw driver to open the Ds and Pokewalker 360/x50. Open it up and carefully disconnect the display. This is a bit tricky if you have never done it before. there is a small black flap that presses the display belt onto the connection. You have to pull it up so it will release the belt (it has a hinge). Then take a qtip and alchohol and clean the board so that no residue is left on the board on either side. In particular by the battery if it went bad and the display belt. Then let it all dry. put on all 4 screws for the circuit board. Connect the belt by sliding it back into the socket and once securely in place, gently push the hinged flap back toward the belt put all your buttons and close it up. Secure the screws, place a new battery in the back. Now I had to push my buttons for a while before it started working (2 minutes). Then I heard beeping and the screen came on.
that depends if you have a game started already but if not nothing unles you save it then your first game will be deleted
