The Prince decrees that if a Montague or Capulet break the peace again they will be sentenced to death.
He says that fighting in public would be punishable by death.
Romeo is never angry with Juliet, the big goof.
Juliet and romeo were still in love and it didn't make a difference
In Shakespeare's play, "Romeo and Juliet," Prince Escalus delivers a message of grief and reconciliation to the Capulets and Montagues after the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Nothing about Romeo and Juliet is real. It's a play. It's all make-believe.
Nobody. Juliet just fell in love with Romeo at a party.
Romeo and Juliet come from two different families who happen to be warring with each other. Romeo and Juliet first meet after Romeo sneaks into a Capulet party. They fall in love instantly and meet up that night. The next morning Romeo ask Friar Lawrence to marry them. The Friar says yes hoping that the marriage will end the feuding between the two houses. So Romeo and Juliet are married. An hour after they're married Tybalt challenges Romeo to a duel. Merctuio's killed while Romeo tries to make peace with Tybalt. A grief stricken Romeo avenges Mercutio's death and slays the villain Tybalt. Romeo flees the scene before the Prince comes and banishes Romeo. That night after much encouraging on Friar Lawrence's part, Romeo and Juliet finalize their marriage. The next morning Romeo flees Verona before the guard changes. Capulet then tells Juliet she is to marry Pairs. Juliet arrives in Friar Lawrence's cell and demands his help. The Friar gives Juliet a vial which will make her seem dead but will only be a very deep sleep. After Juliet leaves the Friar writes a letter to Romeo explaining what is going on. Juliet drinks the vial and her family finds her. Believing she is dead her family holds a funeral and Romeos man Balthazar burst in on the funeral. The man then runs to Romeo and tells him what has happened. Romeo then returns to Verona and enters the Capulet vault disturbing Paris who has come to lay flowers on Juliet's tomb. The two fight and Romeo wins. Romeo then drinks a poison he bought from an Apothecary. He kisses Juliet and dies. Juliet wakes up two seconds later and finds her husband dead. She takes his dagger and kills herself. Montague, Capulet and the Prince arrive on the scene and have a chat about putting aside their differences and making peace. The play finishes with the Prince saying, "For never was there a tale of more woe, Then this of Juliet and her Romeo."
The name of the Prince of Verona is Escalus. He is not really a "lord" but he is the main royal person. Paris is a count, which might make him a "lord" also.
to make the point that if anyone fights from then on, there will be severe consequences. He's sort of like Fate.
