In Sims 2 Bon Voyage Why does the furniture disappear in other hotel rooms?

The reason that the furniture vanishes is because once you have chosen your hotel room to live in there is no need for the others to be shown, but if you want to look inside them you can introduce yourself to the Sim living in it and they will let you into there rooms but usually they will be busy.
Hope this helped and maybe you are only able to introduce yourself to Sims in apartment life because the furniture does the same in that expansion aswell
