under the dash is a series of vacuum hoses if you hear a faint whistling sound they are leaking.
I had this problem with my 1987 5th ave.
I cut off the leaking hose and then used some permitex silicone to glue it back on the nozzle. this has worked for about 8 months before i started hearing the leak again.
i have to turn the AC on set to coldest and moove the controls hot to cole a few times then put it on vent then cool air comes out.
NOTE: KEEP A DIAGRAM OF HOW YOU UNHOOK THE HOSES AND MARK THEM
BECAUSE ONE SIDE IS COLOR CODED OTHER IS BLACK TUBES.
HOPE THIS HELPS,

The usual cause is a failed blower motor resistor.
FUSE!
leaking wheel cylinder
The usual cause is a failed blower resistor, also called a blower power module on a auto temp system.
The common cause is a failed blower resistor.
The most common cause is a failed blower motor resistor.
Blower motor resistor may need replacing
The bearings on the blower are failing. You will need to replace the blower.
The blower motor resistor/power module has failed.
Yes a fuse is one possible cause.
A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
On a new car like yours it is probably the "Resistor switch" that has failed ....this is a common occurance on these cars. You can get it fixed at a Garage for about $100.00 or do it yourself....It is located under the dash near the blower motor
