In a 95' eclipse the stereo wires are light blue black and yellow dimmer and red the stereo im tryin to plug up has a red accessory yellow battery and blue and white remote how should i hook this up?

You must be careful the factory wire colors are not the same. A blue factory wire is not a remote wire like the headunit. Go to www.the12volt.com they have free factory wiring diagrams. If you need help feel free to contact me

Sounds to me like when it was installed they jumped 12volt straight to the accessory wire because they didn't feel like hooking up another second accessory to the brain or the remote starter is malfunctioning and the remote starter relay is keeping that accessory wire engaged
