Its hard to say, but it looks like he is being a little more friendly than a business relationship would require. So yes, he's interested in you.
He may be interested in you for business reasons - is he selling something?
If not, if you are interested, give him that call. Keep it short, keep it light.
But be careful, as always. He might just be out to take advantage of you.
