Yes, it can. If the tank is very low on air and the tank is acting like it's waterlogged, the pump would be turning on and off rapidly which would make it seem like you have low pressure. If this is the case, you are doing harm to your Pump Motor.

What would cause tank to have good pressure but not allow water to flow through the house?

If it's a bladder tank, it should always have "Air" pressure but if the pump isn't working, you still wouldn't have water in the house.

Why does your female bulldog wet her bed?

If your female bulldog is house trained and has recently been wetting her bed, there can be several medical explanations. She could have a bladder infection and cannot control when she urinates or she could be pregnant and there is more pressure on her bladder.

Your house recently developed air in the water line Could a failed pressure tank or failed bladder cause this you have a submursible pump which is always under water?

No, the bladder can't do that. You can't be sure your submersible is always under water without checking it out. You may also have a hole in your droppipe or the pipe leading from the well to the house, which with a check valve in the house you could experience this problem.

How does a presSurized water tank work?

Modern well water pressure tanks are made of thin steel with a thick rubber bladder inside. The mouth of this bladder is open to the water inlet pipe. The tank has an air charge outside this bladder, with an inflation nipple (just like on a bicycle tire) at the top.) The standard pressure switch is fitted to the TEE at water opening with a gauge and a shutoff valve on house side and a non-return valve on well side. The pressure switch should be set at 30/50 or 40 /65 -these are factory settings bur can be adjusted. If the PS is at 30/50 you will need an air charge of 28 psi outside the bladder, when bladder is empty. (Raise or lower this pressure by the nipple at top) When the pump is turned on water will enter the bladder until it gets to 50 psi. then the pressure switch will open. The residual air pressure will squeeze the bladder forcing water through the system. When water level gets down to 30 psi, then the switch will close, turning the pump on again. Having tank air pressure 2 pounds below switch setting is an important part of this.

Can a WellMate pressure tank on a well system be flushed out if you have sand and clay built up inside the tank?

I would recommend adding a T with a blow off as close to the bladder tank as possible - fill the bladder tank and then dump as fast as you can using the T blow off. Do NOT let the dirt get into the house.

A rhetorical question.

What is the problem in a well pressure tank system after you replaced bladder tank and pressure switch Pressure goes up to 50 drops to 40 then after a minute it falls to 0?

Your pump has a leak and the water in the pressure tank is going back down into your well. The only other possibility is that you have a leaking pipe in/under your house. If that's the case, get it fixed immediately or you will have irreversible mold damage.

What is a commonly known as a bladder infection?

A bladder infection is a bacterial disease. Most are caused when bacteria travel up the urethra (backward, or ascending) to the bladder. This is more common in women because of the close proximity of the urethra to the vagina and the growth of bacteria in the closed environment of the vulva.Bladder infections are caused by the bacteria E. coli.
