β 13y agoThat's a question that fanfic authors strive to answer. There has been no official (manga-wise) statement to confirm or deny it. They're good friends and he's willing to do anything to save her but he carries that sentiment for all his friends.

No. Ichigo had plenty of opportunities to show romantic interest in Orihime and even pursue a relationship with her, but he never took any of them. At best, he treats her like a friend without any romantic interest.
