A column break is a term associated with Microsoft Word, not Excel. In Word, it starts a new column of text. In Excel, you can just go to another column to start entering new data.
Bring cursor up to the letter on top of the column, then to the line separating that column from the next. The cursor will turn into a black cross, then just double click.
The last column is column XFD which is the 16,384th column.
