A friend of mine brought the whole collection of official Final Fantasy XIII action figures from Amazon.com, there would probably be a good place to start, or maybe even the Square Enix website may sell something of the sort.
The ones that I started with, and the best ones to me so far, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XII. But the thing about the games is that the battle style is different. FF VII has a team vs. team time based battle system. FF X has a team vs. team turn based battle system. FF XII has a free roaming battle system that is also time based. They all have amazing stories, though. (from Your_Darkest_angel) Final Fantasy IX is the most simple game. FFX would also be a good starter game. they are more straight foward. FFIX
yes, even when you start the game with the special " new game " you unlock after passing the game
