In harvest moon-island of happiness how do eat get food?

• bee hive- Place a villager by the torches under the bee hive. They will set the bee hive on fire and get honey.
• trees- In the beginning of the game, you can plant a tree. (drop a villager on the fruit next to the lift) If you have fixed the lift, you can plant more (up to 3). Drop a villager on the tree and they will harvest the ruit.
• fish- banish the sharks (nature potion= black orchid+black orchid+ pich) (magic potion= rose+rose+berry)
• magic food- your chief can do this once every 24 hours. (place chief on food bin)
• Also if you run low on food change your date on your computer a day back it replenishes your food EXAMPLE if its the 24 change it to the 23

If your asking how to eat food then in your rucksack or some may call it an inventory find some food or something your character can eat. Whatever your character can eat has a blue circle behind it you'll see it it's light blue. So tap on the food once and tap a knife and fork looking symbol in the left corner of the screen above the trash symbol and then you will her some kind of gulping sound and your character ate it, and if it's a stack then just keep tapping the symbol until you ate how much of the food you had, or instead of doing that you could put the food in your equipped items the four circles and the exit your rucksack and tap on the food in your equipped section your character will hold the food then just tap on the food again the food that's in the equipped section and you will hear the gulping sound and see your character eat the food.

You must wait for the diner and cafe to be open. To open these, make sure you have over 20 residents and have unlocked the East Meadow. Once the diner/cafe is open, you have wait for them to expand. This will happen when you have enough residents.

Now, you can learn recipes! Give an ingredient to the owners of diner/cafe (e.g. give turnip to luke) and they will give you a recipe including that ingredient.

Then, assuming you have all the necessary ingredients, you can go to your house and touch the stove. Your recipe book will pop up, and you can cook!
