All the countries in the world (except Syria and Nicaragua) have signed the Paris Agreement of 2015 aiming to keep warming to under 2 degrees Celsius. And Trump removed the US from it in June 2017. (The formal exit of the US will take more than three years.)

If they cannot do this, and warming increases by 3 or 4 degrees, then in 100 years it will be very difficult for many forms of life on earth to continue.

The timeline for the potential destruction caused by global warming is uncertain and depends on various factors, including the actions taken to address and mitigate its effects. While global warming is a significant global issue that requires urgent attention, it is difficult to predict an exact timeframe for potential devastation. However, it is clear that immediate action is necessary to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address the impacts of climate change.
