electrical energy
Chemical energy and electrical energy are the most widely used energy forms.
That refers to electrical energy.
There are many forms of energy and energy conversions, but the most common forms of energy are mechanical energy, gravitational energy, electrical energy, radiant energy, nuclear energy, sound energy, chemical energy, and thermal energy.
All forms of electricity generation start from heat - even wind and hydro-electric power are ultimately driven by heat from the sun. Most forms of generation include generation of steam and using that to drive a turbine however.
I wouldn't say that electrical energy "uses" other types of energy; probably you mean that you can convert other types of energy to electrical energy. Most types of energy can be converted to electrical energy, or actually all of them (as long as there is some useful energy left) - including heat energy, nuclear energy, chemical energy, mechanical energy, etc.
It gets converted to other forms of energy. Quite often, most of it eventually gets converted to heat, i.e., unusable energy for the most part.
Most probably electrical energy.
There are seven known methods for transforming other forms of energy into electrical energy:Electromagnetic (generators)Chemical (batteries)Photovoltaic (solar cells)Electrostatic (friction)Thermoelectric (thermocouples)Piezoelectric (crystals)Nuclear (alpha particle collectors)Most electrical power generation is done by means of electromagnetic generators, driven by turbines, which are powered by steam, water or wind. A small amount is produced by photovoltaic cells.Lightning is produced electrostatically.
