Assuming you are using Microsoft Windows Vista or newer operating system - open the folder you want to sort and right-click on empty space in the window. You will see a context menu - select "Sort by" and then "Name".
If you repeat the action you will get the contents sorted in the opposite direction e.g. from A to Z or from Z to A.
