Well The Long Sword has better statistics but if your about speed the scmictars better.

If you're fighting an enimy with a very slow weapon sometimes you can get an extra hit into the reagular turn-turn deal.well the dragon scimmy spec is to take off the persons protect prayer and the d skim spec is to hit through armor like the max hit with the dskim is like 50 something and with d skim like 43 or something...I would say that the skimitar is better but the longsword spec is cool, if you are Poking then the skimitar is best, however if you are fighting dragons then the longsword.
