In sims 2 with nightlife installed do you have to use the nightlife CD to get cars or can you get them with the normal sims 2 disc?

You would have to use the Nightlife disk, otherwise your computer will tell you that you have not inserted the right disk.

No, you don't. You will only need the sims 2 disk four if you wish to re-install the sims 2. To play nightlife you need the sims already installed/the two nightlife disks that came with the game and the serial code. Go to support.ea.com to get information on getting a replecement disk. =]

If sims 2 pets is the latest game you installed in your computer then to make sims 2 work you have to put in the sims 2 pets CD. I had the same problem.. I kept trying to run sims with nightlife but the latest game I had installed was apartment life... ~Always put in the disc of the latest game you installed~

Hi, the reason why your computer keeps saying "Insert Sims2 University" is because The Sims2 University came out after Nightlife. The Sims2 is more than likely to tell you to put in the most recent Sims disk, in your case, University.
