you get whoever u want in a house wit other people then u press move out when the screen pops up there is a little button on the bottom that says kick out and then it kicks out you're Sim into a empty house just make sure the mansion is the only one open or u can move in a poor Sim by using the cheat motherlode to get more money to buy the mansion :3

You need to move the existing family out on the neighbourhood menu and then move your new family in.
On The Sims 2 how do you move your sims to another town?
You could move the house with the family in it to the houses bin then put the house in a new town but if you do this the family cannot move out of that house whilst in the new town. hope that helped
