First create your family, then move them into a small house or small lot. Then type control+shift+c and a cheat box should pop up at the top of the screen. Type in "motherlode" for the sims 2 and 3, or "rosebud;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;" for the original sims. Then, move out your family with a button on the top of the neighborhood view for the original sims, and a button in the bottom near create a family for the sims 2. You should then be rich! Pick any big house you want to move your sims into!
How do you move on the sims 2 deluxe?
If you mean move house you go to the neighberhood screen and when you are on the mini screen at the bottom of the page showing all the familes that could be moved in, on the left there is an icon that has a family icon and a arrow. Click on it then click on the familes house that you want to move out and then they will move out and you can move your Sims Family into a new house :)
