In cities, suburban, and rural areas, most people live in houses or apartment buildings. In some areas, typically rural, traditional adobe houses are built. In others, even-more-traditional wood/bamboo/grass huts. As a rule, though, cities like Bogotá and Buenos Aires are modern and very similar to "western" cities.
