cardiac is uni/binucleate, has intercalated discs, and is has branching fibers, skeletal is multinucleate and is long and cylindrically shaped.
Skeletal muscle is found in the arms and legs and also other parts of your body. For skeletal muscle to contract it needs to be independly stimulated by a nerve ending. Cardiac muscle is a involantry muscle within the heart which automaticly contracts because of its self- excitable cells. It is a muscle which does NOT produce lactic acide ( normally) and it does not need a nerve to stimulate it to contract
Cardiac muscles contain intercalated discs (thick straight lines between muscle cells), Perkinje fibres (thicker, glycogen filled cells), and the muscle cells branch and generally contain a large central nucleus.
Skeletal muscle cells never branch, they contain nuclei on the periphery (and often each cell has multiple nuclei) and do not contain intercalated discs or Perkinje fibres.
don't be lazy like I am lol. open your science book, read it, learn it..............love it.
cardiac muscle is involuntary muscle, while skeletal muscle is voluntary.
Skeletal muscles are striated muscles that perform voluntary functions. Cardiac muscles are smooth and perform involuntary functions.
cardiac muscle cells are different they are called pacemaker cells the body cannot reproduce these cells once they die that's it.
Cardiac muscle is involuntarily controlled, like smooth muscle.
Cardiac muscle is also striated (has repeating sarcomeres), like skeletal muscle.
Smooth Muscle, Cardiac Muscle, and Skeletal Muscle
Muscle tissue. Cardiac: the muscles in or related to the heart Skeletal: muscles that you can voluntarily control, such as your biceps Smooth: muscles in or around your organs, which cannot be voluntarily controlled (ie. the muscles in your stomach or intestines)
Skeletal muscle tissueVoluntary or skeletal muscles contains long non branching cylindrical cells.
The alternating A and I bands on the miofibrils.
Muscle tissue. You have three types of muscles. Skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscles.
Both skeletal and cardiac muscles are striated muscles.
Both cardiac and skeletal muscles have striations
Both skeletal and cardiac muscles are striated muscles.
please help me with this answer. :) its cardiac and skeletal, only skeletal, smooth and skeletal, or smooth and cardiac 1 of thoses The skeletal muscle is striated.
it has a different embryonic origin - it is neither cardiac nor skeletal muscle. it is often found in the head and neck.
Smooth Muscle, Cardiac Muscle, and Skeletal Muscle
Which two types of muscles are involuntary?
Skeletal, smooth, cardiac
There are no skeletal muscles in the circulatory system. They are smooth muscles and cardiac muscles.
cardiac and smooth muscles are involuntary skeletal muscles are voluntary. smooths muscles are in you intestine and digestive tract usually cardiac muscles are in your heart skeletal muscles are connected to tendons and ligaments
There are three muscle types, skeletal, smooth and cardiac. Skeletal and cardiac are both striated muscle, whereas smooth muscle is not.
