Nixon began his political career in Post-World War II America. His initial fame came as a red hunter--part of the anti-communist movement in America--where he challenged suspected communists and sometimes took them to court.

After that, he secured himself a seat in the senate. During the 1950 election, he accused his opponent, Douglas, of being a communist. He easily won the race, but it is now suspected that he edited of modified some of the election results.

He also secured himself a a vice-president position for Dwight D. Eisenhower's presidential election.
