Will Dimitri become Vampire again in the 6th book of Vampire Academy?
(Spoiler Alert) Dimitri was never a Vampire, he was half Vampire half human (a Dhampir.) Dimitri becomes Strigoi in Shadow Kiss, and he becomes Dhampir again in Spirit Bound, the 5th Vampire Academy novel.

Rose finds out for sure what happened to Dimitri when she runs out the wards to meet her long dead friend, Mason who is there in the form of a spirit. He tells Rose that Dimitri is no longer alive nor dead but a strigoi.
How does rose react when she finds dimitri?
He goes to Russia and Rose follows him so she can kill him. He finds Rose and kidnaps her. He tries to convince Rose to become Strigoi as well and keeps her weak by taking her blood but eventually she stabs him (Not with a stake, so not fataly) and escapes. He follows her and they end up fighting on a bridge, she stakes him and he falls off the edge. Thinking she's killed him Rose returns to America but receives her stake along witha note from Dimitri in the mail after she returns to the academy. Hope that helps.

She takes down heaps of strigoi and ask them the exact same question over: Do you know of Dimitri Belikov. After she finds one she tells him to tell Dimitri that Rose is looking for him. He turns up at an unexpected moment and takes her out. But first says, First rule Roza, dont hesitate and knocks her out. she wakes up in a big estate owned by Dimitri's mentor who becom Strigoi. He keeps Rose hostage but alot of kissing still interupts. He TRIES TO convince Rose to become Strigoi. But she refuses. Then she finaly wakes up to herself she realises she needs to get out. She plunges a wooden stake down into his chest knowing it wont hold him for long and escapes through a window after Dimitri starts fighting other strigoi that were living in the estate. Its out in the middle of nowhere but at night u can see the city lights to Siberia across the horizon. She heads that way but outside theres a huge maze she finally gets through butn Dimitri is calling for her.She runs toward the horizon and comes across a river and bridge. She hops up onto the brige and stares to the water Dimiri ask wat she's doing and says she wont give up her life to be strigoi she'd rather die. Then she ask why shouldnt I and he replies because I want you. Wrong answer she says and Rose lets go but Dimitri reaches for her hand and catches he pulls her up so she s like sitting on a horse then she says with the stake in one hand I will Always love you and then plunges the stake into his chest. Then she lets him go in the water. Then she goes back to the academy and decides to give Adrian a chance and then gets a package its a silver stake with message saying u should always make sure enemy is dead and signed love Dimitri. She then knows she failed to kill him.

Rose goes to find Dimitri. She eventually finds him and is too stunned over his appearance to kill him so he takes her hostage and refuses to kill her unless she decides to be strigoi with him. Rose finally knows she has to get out and once she gets away from the estate heading toward the city lights with Dimitri on her tail they battle on a bridge and Rose says I will always love you and then stakes him and lets him go over the bridge. She then goes back to the academy and gets a parcel with a stake inside with a note saying she'd failed to kill him and missed a first rule make sure your enemy is dead. And that he's waiting for her and she had her chance to live but now Dimitri won't settle until she is silenced forever. She decides to give Adrian and her a chance as well.
