There are lots of things they ate. There are two recipies in the back of the book too. They ate things like Date bread, Baked beans with honey, watermelon, roast mutton, dates stuffed with almonds, raisins, goat's cheese pressed with poppy seeds, radishes with sesame, quail, mutton pastries, roast reed birds stuffed with figs, grilled catfish, honey bread, fig bread, goose eggs, papyrus stems, leeks, celery and heaps more. They drunk things like barley beer, pomegranate juice, water, honey beer, poppy and lots more. I am not going to go through the whole book but I got some from some parts when they ate. We are currently reading this at my school and I took it home to finish it. It is a really good book!
