In the sims 2 castaways for ps2 on the second island there is a sign indicating another area but you cant get to it because it looks like its blocked by a grey path how do you get past it?

In the dark cave there was a seceret door that you cant open but when you get to the 3rd island the is the llama kings crown which you use to open the ancient door and then you find the hidden lagoon and that is where the grey path leads to.
