Here's an interesting story about gods AND titans!!: So, Kronos and his wife, Rhea, (the titans) had 3 god babies: Posiedon, Hades, adn Zeus. Kronos ate Poseidon and Hades because he thought they were going to out rule him and then Kronos won't be the king of the world. But Rhea didn't want Kronos to eat Zeus, so she hid him. Wehn, finally Zeus was old enough to face Kronos, he went out of his hiding. He got Poseidon and Hades back and altogether they defeated Kronos. Then, they wanted to know who would be the king of gods, king of the sea, and king of the underworld / dead people. There were three straws; a big straw, a medium straw and a small straw. The big straw was for king of gods and so on. Zeus picked first and was made king 0of the gods. Poseidon picked second, and was made king of the seas, and Hades picked last, so now he's king of the junderworld/ dead people. The End.

Basically Zeus was the first god. The story was that Kronos was king of the Titans. He feared that he would be overcome by the children he had with Rhea. So he ate the children. But his wife hid her last baby, Zeus, and gave Kronos a rock to eat instead. Later, when Zeus grew up, he tricked Kronos by making him eat a mixture of mustard and wine, so he regurgitated his brothers and sisters. Because they were immortal gods, the children had been living and growing up undigested in Kronos's stomach. There was a big fight, which the gods won. They then sliced Kronos to pieces with his own scythe and scattered what was left of him in Tartarus, the darkest part of the Underworld.

Baby Zeus grew up, and with the help of two other Titans, and the swallowed gods, (how they got out of Kronos's stomach is another story), Zeus defeated Kronos. eat his child A major thing that Zeus did was overthrowing Cronus and the other Titans, causing him to rule Mount Olympus and the Gods and Goddesses. He also was given the power to control over atmospheric phenomena (lightning, thunder, rain, wind). His powerful lightning bolt was given to him by the cyclops and Hephaestus, the blacksmith god. His main accomplishment was to take over Kronos well for starters he ate his wife... not one i think he should be proud of. He also helped his daughter win a competition against her friend to disarm each other and Athena accidental ended up killed her friend.
