And what's wrong with that? It also lets men work--if they don't have a wife who's a built in nanny, housekeeper. It sounds to me as if "conflict theorists" are all men--or think like them. What, pray tell, are conflict theorists, anyway, and why should their view hold sway over domestic policy? What would people think if the sentence were written as follows "In the view of conflict theorists, health care receives little government support because it is merely a way to keep people healthy"?
