The twilight king appears and steals them back then takes away midna's powers. Then link has to be a Wolf and take midna to Zelda and Zelda gives midna her powers and Zelda goes byebye. :3
Then soon you have to get the mirror pices because the guy behind the twilight king Gandrof (or however you spell it) broke the mirror in pices and then you have to find the other 3 pices. and blah blah. that's where i am. The City in the sky. For more info go here.

you fight zant close to the end
The Fused Shadows are an ancient power that Midna wants. The Fused Shadows allow Midna to gain a lot of power which will help you out later in the game. Midna will be able to kill Zant & break into Hyrule Castle with it. Hope this helps! ;)
Midnas theory that the spirits have them is wrong, however the spirits hid them in the first 3 dungeons of the game; the forest temple, goron mines, and the lakebed temple. You will recieve the fused shadow after the dungeon boss is defeated.
No, I think that her cloak got fused into her skin or something XD
okay first you have to return light to all of the spirits and retrieve all the fused shadows.... then zant will take them from you and he will throw this chunk of twilight in your head, and you have to do this little quest thingy and then the thingy comes out and you can use it to turn back into a wolf whenever you want
It will come eventually. Follow the story and you will get there. You get it after finding the last fused shadow.
You can meet Ganon by climbing to the top of Hyrule Castle after completing collecting the fused shadows for the second time. After Zant takes them the first time you have to get them back by entering the Twilight Realm and defeating him in battle. Once you have them your path to the Castle is clear, Ganon waits in the topmost room.
Beat the first three levels. Forest Temple, Goron Mines, and Lakebed Temple.
It's been a while but let's see... Fused shadows: Forest, Death mountain, and lakebed temple. then Arbiter's grounds/desert Mirrors: snowhead, temple of time, sky, then the Twili palace, then Hyrule Castle! Did I forget one?
The Legend of Zelda is a console game based in the fictional land of Hyrule in which you need to save the land from a wizard pig named Ganon. You have to go through many dungeons to get all the pieces of the tri-force, once you are done with all the dungeons, you have to go to where Ganon hides and defeat him. NOTE: this is from the FIRST LoZ game.
If you mean the Mirror Shards, none are in Death mountain. (they are in the temple of time, snowpeak and the city in the sky) The fused shadows? however one is int he death moutnain, just mak your way through the temple, and when you beat the Twilit att he end, you get the fsed shadow !! - Simples ;)
Because they needed him not to for the plot to continue. It's called a plot hole. It happens.
