The Legend of Zelda is a console game based in the fictional land of Hyrule in which you need to save the land from a wizard pig named Ganon. You have to go through many dungeons to get all the pieces of the tri-force, once you are done with all the dungeons, you have to go to where Ganon hides and defeat him. NOTE: this is from the FIRST LoZ game.
It is a game released by Nintendo, the 13th installment in The Legend of Zelda series. It is available on both the GameCube, Wii and Wii U.
The story follows Link as a ranch hand in the small village of Ordon, when "twilight" descends upon the land of Hyrule and Link is brought into it. He finds himself transformed into a wolf by the twilight, and teams up with a strange imp named Midna, who lives in this twilight. She introduced him to Princess Zelda. To clear these "shadows" from Hyrule, Midna helps Link locate the lost light of the Light Spirits of Hyrule; in exchange for this aid, whenever Link would regain his human form he had to locate a relic called a Fused Shadow for her.
Midna is the Twilight Princess mentioned in the game title "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess", which is called thus because she is the rightful ruler and crown princess of the Twilight Realm and the Twili. But you might get confused when Midna calls Zelda the twilight princess when we first meet her as Wolf Link.
She [Midna] said that because Zelda was princess of a Hyrule covered in twilight. Once you get to the Gerudo desert, after getting the master sword, Midna tells you that she was the ruler. It is revealed in the end that she really is the twilight princess.
Each story changes but its basically like this: A hero named Link (who has an awesome green tunic) goes through a great adventure while collecting several items and weapons to save a princess (usually Princess Zelda, with the exception of Phantom Hourglass, where Link saves Tetra, however, Tetra is actually Princess Zelda) or the magical land of Hyrule from an evil villain, sometimes Ganon, Ganondorf, or sometimes another villan.
After finishing ganondorf midna will return to her true form (the twilight princess) and will go back to the twilight world (meanwhile destroying the mirror of twilight) and the credits will start. When they finish you will go back to castle town and you may repeat ganondorf as many times as you want.
Link is a normal ranch boy he rescues a boy, and hurts his horse. hesa girlfriend angry. he is attack, and transforms into a wolf. he goes on and get light back to hyrule. he gets the fused shadows, but zant takes them. he revives the mirror of twilight. midna kills zant with fused shadows. he rescues zelda, kills ganondorf.
