Easy. If your stuck on the part with the iron gate Midna "flew" past, lower the water and go back to the gate. You'll see a hole on the left side (Wii) or right side (Gamecube). Go through the hole, beat up the shadow things, talk to the ghost, shimey out the other hole, and Tadaa! Your past the gate and talking to Midna.
