Positive example of peer pressure in "We Beat the Street": The boys motivate each other to study hard, stay out of trouble, and pursue their dreams of becoming doctors.

Classical conditioning a child involves pairing the undesirable behavior (running across the street) with a negative consequence (like a stern warning or a timeout). You can also pair the behavior with a positive consequence (praise or rewards) when the child follows safe behavior. Consistency and repetition are key to reinforcing the desired behavior.
Someone who is not book smart may be described as street smart, intuitive, or resourceful. They may excel in practical problem-solving or have strong social skills.
One way to classically condition a 2-year-old to not run out into the street is to pair the sight or sound of an approaching car with a loud, startling noise (like a horn honking) so the child learns to associate the two events. This can help create a fear response that discourages them from running into the street. It's also important to consistently reinforce safe behavior through positive reinforcement and supervision.
A functionalist studying the Occupy Wall Street movement would focus on how it serves to address social inequality and draw attention to economic disparities. Because of negative charges and positive charges. And because in an electric circuit electrons flow from negative to positive and if the battery wasn't marked you wouldn't know which way to put it in. If put in backwards it would be like trying to drive your car down a one way street filled with traffic, not very good.

I think gangs can have a positive and or a negative affect on the economy. They can have a positive affect when they're creating their organization to be positive & do positive things for their communities, such as creating recreation centers, or creating fund raisers to raise money for the poor, u know just doing positive stuff, not going around fighting, and shooting, and killing each other. The thing is, there are a lot of gangs out there that started out as a positive organization that did all that type of stuff, but later started to turn into a criminal organiztaion. Many of these so called ''gang members'' nowdays don't understand the true meaning of ''gang bangin'', gangs are supposed to be positive not negative.

There are many positive and negative effects of widening public roads. Negative effects that come to mind include: impeding traffic during construction, environmental impact, and taxpayer cost. There are other possible negative effects such as people "rubbernecking" or staring at construction which can cause an accident. If there is insufficient room to widen the road but it must be widened, sidewalk space can be reduced or street parking spaces removed.
