In humans absorption takes place in the small intestines. In the small intestines are tiny structures called villi. Each villi has microvilli. These villi increase the surface area for absorption. Inside a microvilli, there is a network of capillaries and lacteals. Lacteals absorb amino acids and transport it to the liver via the subclavian vein which leads into the back of the neck, from there it gets distributed to the rest of the body. Back to the microvilli. The microvilli contains capillaries which absorb fatty acids and glycerols. These are transported to the liver via the heptic portal vein.

Small intestine Esophagus - APEX The parts of the alimentary canal are: The Mouth The Pharynx The Stomach The small intestine The large intestine
In the Mouth then the second is the Stomach
Actually the Complete Absorption takes Place in the small intestine .It contains Finger likeprojections called Micro villi these run through the small intestine which increases thesurface area for absorption.
Chemical digestion takes place in the stomach, the intestines, (saliva or enzymes) these parts of your body also use mechanical digestion.
Outline the basic principles of digestion and absorption?Digestion happens in the stomach ,gastric juices and hydrochloric acid are produced to break down food. The food is breaken in to managable size. Then the food and enzymes moves into the small intestine after five hours in the stomach.Absorption of substances takes place in different parts of the alimentary canal, like mouth, stomach, small intestine and large intestine. However, maximum absorption occurs in the small intestine It is the process by which the end products of digestion pass through the intestinal mucosa into the blood or lymph.all nutrients are absorbed via the intestine wall. Fatty acids and glycerol being insoluble, cannot be absorbed into the blood.
the large intestine
Maximum digestion takes place in duodenum .
it takes place in your stomach.lol
In the small intestine for many mammals, though it's much more complicated in ruminants and hindgut fermenters such as rabbits.

Water absorption takes place in both the small and large intestine's. Around 90% of water absorption takes place in the small intestines, equally between all three sections. The remainder of the water absorption to produce "formed" faeces takes place in the large intestines.
yes, you can because during ionic absorption it causes gas in your abdonminal area. The absorption of minerals normally takes place in the small intestines.
No it is not, the stomach initiates protein digestion and denatures proteins. The intestines is the first site where absorption takes place.
