It cannot be changed without making an amendment.

The 24th Amendment to the US Constitution
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom to practice one's religion without interference from the government.
The statements in the constitution are valid in todays government, but some of them have and can be changed. But we have a process for this in our government so that we can't change the constitution at will and without reason.
the Fourth Amendment
The power of the government to enact eminent domain and take private property from citizens is derived from the 5th Amendment of the US Constitution which states: "No person shall be deprived of... property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation". The 5th amendment doe not actually establish eminent domain as a government power. The 5th amendment sets limits to eminent domain.
Formal amendments are changes to the Constitution made by following the procedures outlined in Article V; they result in new written material being added to the Constitution (even if the addition actually repeals another amendment). Judicial interpretation is called the "informal amendment process" because it changes the way the Constitution is understood and applied without altering the document itself.
The Constitution does. The government makes laws and enforces them but the constitution actually protects individual's rights. The US is a constitutional federated republic. The government is kept in check by the constitution. Without the checks and balances that the constitution provides, the government could take away all rights of the people, controlling all they say and do. A government without checks and balances usually ends in dictatorship.
The 5th Amendment to the US Constitution
The 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution altered the taxation process. This amendment allows the Congress to levy an income tax regardless of the number of representatives a state has in Congress or basing it on population.
The second amendment of the US Constitution, or the right to bear arms, does not set limits arms in its current state. However, limits can be placed on the amendment which does place limitations that does not infringe on the right of the people to keep arms.
The Constitution guarantees freedom of speech. It means that you can say what you feel without fear of government retaliation. It is in the First Amendment.
