I think you must mean ALLEGORY, not 'allusions'
A story in which ideas are symbolized as people is called an allegory. In an allegory, characters and events represent abstract ideas or moral qualities, often serving as a way to convey a moral or political message. Examples of allegorical stories include "Animal Farm" by George Orwell and "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan.
Lord of the Flies, Of Mice and Men, 1984....
i dont know h333 ------- the whole story's an allegory of the Russian Revolution. Be careful, because it's not a 'satire' nor a 'parody'. An allegory is a story that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, whereas a 'satire' uses humour to make fun of someone or something and a 'parody' imitates an author or genre's style of writing and exaggerates for a comical effect. So remember, Animal Farm= allegory.
The Chronicles of Narnia is a Christian allegory: the hero sacrifices himself, dies and returns from the dead.
These are examples of economic and political ideologies.
