Strasbourg
The European Parliament has two meeting places, in Strasbourg in France, which is the official seat, and in Brussels in Belgium, the larger of the two, which serves for committee meetings, political groups and complementary plenary sessions.
Officially Strasbourg in France, but it also sits some of the time in Brussels in Belgium. The Secretariat of European Parliament is based in Luxembourg.
Strasbourg is the location of the parliament of the European Union. Strasbourg is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in eastern France, located near the border with Germany.
