This question is in fact a sentence so you already used perturbing in a sentence as I just did. Ahhh yes this is a very tricky word to use in a sentence one great example would be.... EXAMPLE 1: Manley is very good at perturbing the class. EXAMPLE 2: Mr. Linda becomes perturbed when hes looking for actual information on Wiki. EXAMPLE 3: Sometimes Mr. Linda regrets telling Manley to come see him after school because he just becomes more perturbed with him! Another definition is its use in astronomical terminology. The orbit of the satellite was greatly perturbed by its contact with the planet Jupiter.
It depends in part on whether you're using" perturbed" as an adjective or a verb.As an adjective, it means troubled. Therefore, an opposite meaning would be "at peace," though that's more than one word.As a verb, "perturb" means to irritate. Therefore, an opposite meaning would be "soothe" or "calm" or to "please."
